How Bad is it Really?
One of the easiest ways to determine how the household clutter rates is to view the NSGCD Clutter Hoarding Scale and determine what your level is.
Clutter support is recommended for all individuals above Level II. Individuals who are Level IV or higher will need addtional support and assistance outside of a professional organizer. However a professional organizer may be able to steer you in the right direction to finding the additional resources you need.
Getting Started
You can start by taking an organizing class, consider having a clutter coach assist you by telephone or you can bring an organizer on-site.
